Health Insurance

For Individuals & Families (under 65)

Comprehensive Health Plans

We offer individual comprehensive Connecticut health insurance through carriers you know and trust. Comprehensive health coverage is perfect for those who may have a pre-existing health condition and plan to use a lot of health services during the year. This type of coverage is also good for those who qualify for a federal premium subsidy which allows you to have full coverage at a lower premium. Thus, determining the type of health coverage you should buy really depends on your circumstances. Since the state of Connecticut, nor the Federal Government, mandate that you have comprehensive coverage to avoid a penalty, you may want to buy a non-ACA Supplemental Health Plan that is a smart, affordable alternative designed to protect you and your family’s physical health and financial wellness, without breaking the bank.

Alternative Major Medical Health Insurance Medi-Share

Medi-Share offers an alternative to traditional, expensive marketplace health insurance and exempts you from the “Essential Benefit” mandate of the ACA.

Specifically, Medi-Share is a A Christian-based health plan wherein members share each other’s eligible medical bills.  Every month, you and many other members pay a set monthly amount into a fund (pool).  Claims are paid by that fund when someone who is covered (member) gets sick.  However, each covered member has a certain amount of out-of-pocket expenses that must pay each year.  Like traditional Connecticut health insurance, the higher your out-of-pocked expenses (deductible), the lower your shared monthly (premiums) amount you need to pay.
